My Most Favorite Skin Care/Make Up Products - 2022

There are some products that you never want to switch. You love them and continue to restock. Here are the products that have been my favorite for 2 years in a row because of their quality, texture and effectiveness. Hope you guys like them. 

1. Natural Vibes Ayurvedic Tea Tree Face Wash

I am on my second bottle of this face wash and I have already purchased the third one. This has been my go to face wash because it is a gentle cleanser with calming effect thanks to the tea tree ingredient in it. One of the best cleansers for acne prone skin or combination skin. 

2. Laneige Lip Balm

You would have seen this lip balm in my other posts and videos as well. I love this as night treatment for my lips. It provides hydration, softens the lips and takes away the dryness. 

I also use it just before my makeup to moisturise my lips. This helps any lipstick to glide smoothly. 

PRO TIP: Apply this balm 10 minutes before makeup and just before applying your lip liner, wipe the balm off. Lip balm underneath lipsticks makes them less transfer proof and less long lasting. 


3. The Body Shop Vitamin C Glow-Revealing Liquid Peel 

It took me time to like this liquid peel. It was recommended by Rati and I trust her recommendations a lot. Now this peel has become my weekend exfoliation ritual. It gives instant brightness, and takes away impurities from skin. Super easy to use. 


4. Lakme 9 to5 Primer + Matte Lip Color - Coffee Command

One of the best browns that I own. The lipstick is soft matte and has creamy texture. It is a very pretty brown that would suit most of the skin tones. I won't say it is long lasting, but it is one of the must have shades. 


5. Huda Beauty Original Liquid Matte Lipstick - Icon

One of the most favorite lipsticks I own. This shade is a gem. 
Ever since I tried Kat Von D and Huda Liquid Lipsticks, these have become the must haves in my vanity. The texture and formula are amazing. The lipsticks don't dry out the lips or feel uncomfortable. These are very long lasting, creamy matte lipsticks which feel comfortable on lips. They do transfer a bit when I eat something oily but manage to stay on my lips easily for 5-6 hrs. Icon from Huda beauty is a unique pinking brown shade that is also used by makeup artists on their brides a lot. 


6. Neutrogena Hydro Boost Water Gel

When I just bought it, I was not sure whether I would buy it again. But now I can't seem to put it down. This is my fuss free, go to moisturiser. If you have acne prone or combination skin, you should definitely try this one. Provides hydration and a subtle glow to the skin.

7. Nykaa Lips Don't Lie! Waterproof Line & Fill Lip Liner

Honestly, these lip liners came as a surprise. I didn't know Nykaa would do such an outstanding job creating some amazing lip liners. I am a sucker for lip liners because they make your lipsticks long lasting. I use them underneath all my lipsticks and sometimes, I also use them alone. So, I have lip liners from MAC, Wet n Wild, Chambor, Maybelline and many other brands. But these days, I mostly reach out for only these ones. Reason: 1. These are creamy in texture so feel comfortable on lips. 2. These are highly pigmented. 3. The colors cater to all skin tones.

8. Flyliner Longwear Liquid Eyeliner - Fenty Beauty 

I love absolute thin lines as eye liner - one very close to the lashline. But my hand is not very sturdy and also I am not good with liquid liners. So, this kind of liner pens are a major welcome for amateurs like me. I have no words to describe this dope eye liner. It draws precise thin lines. Color and pigmentation are bomb. It is smudge proof and looks good. Now I can create thin lines and also wings with just a stroke. Definitely a must have. 

9. Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara 

There are many mascaras in the market. If you are on budget, maybelline ones are very good. I personally love this one because it gives voluminous lashes and I don't even have to use fake lashes. 
A good alternative to this is Loreal Lash Paradise mascara. This mascara is quite popular among many makeup artists.



10. ELF Cream Blush Palette 

This one has been my favorite cream blush palette for the past 5 years. I still love it. The colors are gorgeous and stays on skin for about 4 hours. Add life to the face. Since they are cream blushes, they add a nice subtle glow to the skin. I would highly recommend this blush palette to everyone.
I have it in the shade SOFT which is perfect for skin tones from wheatish, fair to very fair.
