Today I am going to take you through the difference between hair conditioners and masks, how to use them and then a quick review of my new favorite hair mask: Kerastase Densifique hair mask
Difference between hair conditioner and hair masque:
1. Hair conditioner is light-weight and is like a daily moisturiser that can be used everyday as well, whereas hair mask is like a facial massage cream that is thicker, more hydrating and is meant to be used for deep nourishment once in a while.
2. While hair conditioners can be used everyday, hair masks are ideally used once in a week or once in 15 days.
3. Generally, we keep hair conditioner on our hair for about 1-2 minutes before rinsing it off, but hair masks are kept for longer duration. You can keep hair masks for 5-10 minutes, or even 15-20 minutes on your hair.
4. Hair conditioners are only used after hair wash, whereas hair masks can be used both as before hair wash and after hair wash treatment. I like to use it after hair wash.
5. Lastly, hair conditioners are only meant to be used from mid length of hair strands till the end, hair masks, on the other side, can be used on only strands or on scalp as well.
How to use: Apply a coin size amount to wet hair from mid length to ends, leave on for 5-10 minutes and then rinse. Can be used daily

My Experience: I have been losing hair for the past 5-6 years. My hair is thinning and it is a concern. So, last time on my visit to salon, my hair stylist advised me to try kerastese range. She advised me both shampoo and masque, and assured me that they will help to strengthen hair and build volume.
So, I bought them. The bill almost burned my pocket, but I wanted to give these products a try.
So, I have used this masque twice and I'm very glad with the effects. Post shampoo, I apply this masque from mid length of hair strands till the end and then massage the remaining amount on my scalp. I wrap my head with towel and then leave it on for 20-25 minutes before rinsing it off with water.
The first thing that I notice post hair drying is the incredible shine in my hair. My hair looks much more healthy and nourished. Secondly, it makes my hair absolutely manageable and frizz free. I don't have to use serum thanks to this masque to detangle my hair. The third thing that amazes me the most is, this mask doesn't ever make my hair look greasy or overly hydrated. (many other conditioners and masks that I have tried before made my hair look flat and greasy). So I must say this mask is worth every penny and meets its claims. Although, it is too early to comment on its claim "makes hair thicker", rest of the claims have been fully met. I think I am going to enjoy using this masque for a while now:)

2. Makes hair frizz-free
3. Makes hair shiny.
4. Easy to use
5. Gives hair spa like results.
6. Hair looks hydrated and smooth

1. The price is definitely on higher side.
Overall verdict:
It you have dry, damaged, thinning hair or your hair gets tangled easily. This is the right product for you. and is a must try.
